Captain Carl Albright has
28 years of law enforcement experience, coming
to the Hillsdale County Sheriff's Office
from the Jonesville Village Police Department,
where he began his service in 1982. While
in Jonesville, his titles included Patrolman,
Sergeant and Acting Chief. He has been
with the Hillsdale County Sheriff's Office
since February of 1985 as a corrections officer
and marine officer. He became a patrol
officer in 1986, served as an SRP officer
between 1987 and 1988, and in 1989 was promoted
to Sergeant. He was promoted to Captain in
2000. He holds numerous certifications and
has won many commendations and accolades
throughout the years, including Outstanding
Performance in 1986, Outstanding Leadership and
Dept. Commendation in 2001, Outstanding Deputy
in 2002, Supervisor of the Year in 2003, Dept.
Commendation for Armed Robbery Apprehension in
2004 and Perfect Attendance for 19 years.
He graduated from Kellogg Community College in
1982 with an Associates Degree in Law
Enforcement, and obtained his MCOLES
certification in 1982 as well.
