The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office uses
contributions made to the Education Fund
to purchase, produce and supply
instructional tools allowing us to
engage in quality education programs.
These valuable resources are distributed
free of charge to schools, senior
centers, and at public events hosted by
the Hillsdale County Sheriff’s
Office. Resource material,
including information on bike safety,
gun safety, boater safety, senior
safety, home protection and other
topics, is provided to our community
members, guests, and visitors.
Funds are also used to provide a $250
Educational Scholarship each year
through a competitive application
process for students who wish to enter
the field of Criminal Justice at an
accredited college. Students who
are awarded the Sheriff Star Student of
the Month award are eligible for the
scholarship with announcements made at
their respective school awards program.
