Training: Citizen Corps Training
     The Citizen Corps Training Academy is designed to educate and inform our community about ways in which they can help the Sheriff's Office in the fight against crime.  We ask that you pass the following information along to friends, family and neighbors about this chance to make a difference.

Classes cover the following topics:

An introduction to the course and an outlining of the responsibilities you and the office have as participants.
An overview of the Neighborhood Watch program, how it has changed over the years and the legal issues involved.
Self-defense and R.A.D. training.
Homeland Security, firearms and home safety.
Drugs and illicit substances in our community, including meth awareness training.

Graduation and an awards reception will be held upon completion.

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

Classes will be held at the Reading Emergency Unit Training Center, 30 Monroe St. in Hillsdale (map on Google Maps).
